Dr. Derrick W. Denman is a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated with honors in 1988. Prior to studying at Logan, Dr. Denman attended Oral Roberts University. He has been in practice for over 28 years and has been serving the town of Lincolnton and the surrounding area’s for over 25 years.
“As a sixteen year old, I was very active and enjoyed running and working out. One day during my normal routine, I experienced something unusual… My vision was distorted! By that I mean, my eyes were not working together in unison. I actually had to lay down and be very still for it to “go away” and it did! At least until I was out running again! See I thought what most people do, “Maybe It Will Go Away!”
After the second episode, I mentioned this to my Mom and she immediately thought I should go see an eye doctor! It was my eyes that were the problem, right? Wrong! Then a friend of our family said, “Why not take him to see the Chiropractor, maybe something is out of alignment in his neck!”
This was the beginning of my love for chiropractic, because after he adjusted my neck and spine, the doctor relieved the pressure on the nerves and more specifically, the first vertebrae. This is called the atlas. The atlas can put pressure on the brain stem and can cause a whole host of other symptoms.
From that day forward, I KNEW I wanted to help people the same way that doctor helped me…. NATURALLY! ”
And since he began practicing chiropractic in 1988 and 1991 in Lincolnton, Dr. Denman, as a Chiropractic Physician and Wellness Advisor, is trained and or certified in:
Traditional Chiropractic (Using diversified technique, Leander-flexion technique, Thompson drop table.)
SIGMA/Pro-Adjuster (Gentle, effective adjustments for severe pain, auto-injuries osteoporosis, pregnancy, timid patients, those difficult to adjust and the elderly.)
I look forward to meeting you and believe our office can help you feel better soon!
